Toshiba’s Tron like TabletMan creates a bond between humans and technology

Super Nature Design and Great Works China have developed a wearable technology system called the TabletMan. TabletMan is a garment that has been designed with a view point of connecting persons through interactive experience and generating new relationships with technology. It has been developed for an Asian market campaign ‘Future You’. There are tablet screens in the garment that tempt people to came and share their experiences and stories, these stories and experiences are further shared on by the garment on social networking sites like Facebook and YouTube in real time.

The garment features electro-luminescent lights and 11 Toshiba tablets engraved in black rubber suit, these features bestow a Tron like look on the TabletMan. There are sensors embedded in the garment which capture interactions done by people crossing by. The ‘Electroluminescent Lighting’ wires which are spread all over the suit illuminates while interaction.
